W2509A: Marissa Sweet - Expressive Landscape
This workshop will focus on using bold, warm color temperatures to show depth in foliage and create an atmosphere. Students will learn to use loose strokes and impressionistic and abstract techniques; a process Marissa incorporates into all her paintings. The workshop consists of step-by-step instructions, with everyone working on the same image. This method introduces students to Marissa’s painting process, which can serve as a guide for creating their landscapes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own expressive and personal styles into their work.
