David Geene is a resident of Nogojiwanong Peterborough, Ontario. For the last 50+ years he has made art, but only recently began showing and selling his work. He has studied with and been influenced by E. Heathfield, A.C. Sookrah, A. Hamilton, S. Rose, E. Greisman, M. Chowdhury, R.K. Stiles, P. Nabuurs and others at Studio 201 Peterborough, Haliburton School of Art and Design (Fleming College), and the Penn Studio (Philadelphia). David is a retired educator and school administrator, a trained musician, a frequent actor in community theatre, and lately a theatre set designer-builder. Art shows include ECCO Gallery Lakefield Fall-Winter 2025, Haliburton Studio Tour Fall 2025, Riverdale Art Walk 2025, First Friday Art Crawls - Peterborough (2024-2025), Peterborough Theatre Guild 2025, with Studio 201 at Buckhorn Festival of the Arts (2024-2025) and Lakefield Jazz and Art Festival 2024, and Arts Heals.
